12th WBAS Youth Band Festival [G]
Experience the outstanding talent and passion of young musicians at the WBAS Youth Band Festival 2024. Under the direction of conductors Stefanie Smith (Australia) and Jovan Neo (Singapore), the concert showcases a vibrant repertoire, including Michael Markowski's As Midnight on a Moonless Night, John Adams' Short Ride on a Fast Machine, Eric Whitacre's October, and Lee Jin Jun's Autumnal Fireworks.
Audiences will also enjoy Arirang and Akatonbo, Vaughan Williams' Sea Song, and local premieres of Jodie Blackshaw’s Terpsichorean Dances, Cait Nishimura’s Boreal Pines, and Nathan Daughtrey’s playful Hop!.
